Road trippin’ West Oz
With a massive area of 2.6 million km2 and some of Australia’s most iconic landscapes, Western Australia is the home of the road trip. I firmly believe that God created the largest state on the Australian continent, with its scenic and rugged beauty, epic surf spots and one of the most pristine and clean coastlines in the world, for us earthlings to explore by car.
Desperate for a new adventure after two years of being “stuck” due to Covid, I kissed my husband “good bye” in Margaret River, in the South West of WA and hit the road, with my jam-packed Toyota Landcruiser — two wavekiteboards, a surfboard, a foilboard, six kites, various bars, trapeze, wetsuits, my swag (one of the greatest inventions of mankind!), gas cooker, camping chair, my camera gear, and the most important kitchen utensils.
And whaaaaaat a FREAKIN’ awesome adventure I had !!! Shooting with the legend Jaimen Hudson himself , the footage we created together is mind-boggling.
I was only meant to cruise around for about two weeks…. Two weeks turned into four and it still wasn’t enough 😉
