Wooow, after almost a whole week of waiting for the wind, the veery last day, it suddenly was there…. We had an early skippers meeting (7am) and a 13 hours day but got some results and that’s sweet.
Yeah, how funny was that…after a week of chillin’ in the Austrian spring, the night before the last day the wind suddenly picked up. A bad weather front brought us some rain but also some strongs winds … who would have thought that we would be rockin on 10’s and 12’s (some girls were even on 6’s and 8’s !!) !?
In tthe single elimination, I came 4th 🙂  soooo nice !! Unfortunately couldn’t hold my position in the double (it was also quite a disputable double elimination format with heats of 5 minutes instead of 7 due to the lack of time…!?) but came 5th overall and that’s a beautiful victory for me in my own country.
In the men’s Etienne Lhote won first time (congrats dude!!) in front of Kevin Langeree who kicked out worldchamp Aaron Hadlow.
In the girls, the victory goes to Kristin Boese in front of Ania Grzelinska and Angela Peral.
