OFF 2 New Zealand !
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees, a lifelong dream is about to come true 🙂 I’ve kept it secret until now but here are the news guys: Tonite I’m flying out of Perth via Melbourne to Christchurch, New Zealand !!!
The Mission: Photo-Roadtrip with my good kiwi-mate Ian Trafford, THE sickest photographer, who I already had the pleasure working with in the past, check out my portfolio for all published articles, Ian’s photos are i n s a n e !
The plan is hook up with Ian on the South island and find blindbowing spots to shoot . I’m sure New Zealand has so many stunning places. Let’s hold fingers crossed that weather Gods are on our side with wind & sun when Ian and myself explore the ‘last paradise’ in search for the sweetest, sickest spots around 🙂
I will try to keep u in the loop with everything as frequently as possible … it all depends on internet availability along the way. I will be traveling (and living) in a camper van and once the waves of the south island have been properly shredded, I will take the ferry across to the north island, where some of the World’s best wavespots are located: Raglan and Taranaki, yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah !!!
Can’t wait for this exciting journey 2 start 🙂 …my arm is suuuper blue, in fact getting bluer every day, bruised as from my recent kitemare, when I got a line wrapped around my arm, whilst being heavily washed by some monster-waves out a gnarly wave spot…somebody must have watched over me, how lucky I was the line just suddenly snapped !?
