2nd feature as part of my column ‘Kite & the Planet’, a series of features around my exciting life in the pro-scene in which I cover trips, events, interviews and more!
In this issue: A travel around half the globe for o n e lousy photograph. Yeah, what a funny and truly memorable trip. Travelling from Austria with a cheap ticket – thus several stops and airplane connections – to Mexico, followed by an extremely lengthy bus as well as boat trip, I finally reach the destination that I aimed for: Caye Caulker, a tiny island in the Belizean archipelago. Initially the trip should have become a travel-story with mind blowing shots of the sheer beauty of this region, however, things went totally wrong, the camera of the photographer got stolen and I had to leave the island with only one single action shot that a tourist took with his small digi-cam.
Not quite the result that I wished for and the story way shorter than planned, however, most probably funnier than even a 10 pager could be…
