Autumn 2004 was my second time in Brazil for the final of the PKRA World Cup. My favourite training spot was Paracuru where I spent the weeks before the event. That’s where I met a reporter who was writing an article on ‘Kitesurf Paradise’ (translated) and got me on the cover of the newspaper O Povo.

Unfortunately shortly before the event I injured myself during training and could not take part in the competition. Thank God I had booked myself a ticket for 3 months, so I had opportunities to make up for my disappointment of not being able to compete. After about 1 month of rest, I was back on track and had a main part in the Stance-DVD of that winter. Check out my videos for the movie!
