Hot off the press: The brand-new issue (May/June’14) of Kiteboarding – the leading German kite magazine – has only just been released two days ago and I’m super stoked to be featured in it on 12 and a half pages !!!
Yes, it’s an insanely big article that I’m really happy with and it’s a special, let’s say slightly ‘unusual’ one: Whereas it’s normally me who goes traveling to exotic places and later sharing my adventures with the readers in my articles, this time, the tables were turned: Reemedia, specializing in water sports-photography, came to visit me at my adopted home in Margaret River, Western Australia.
The German title of the consequent home-story is a bit tricky to translate into English and could be “Seeking Wave-Joy” or “The Quest for Wave-Bliss”. It’s about my life here at the other end of the world from where I was born (Austria) with my husband Corey, a highly committed windsurfer and my soul mate in all regards. We both live for our time in the ocean and our life here is all about waves. The ocean, waves and their energy are our life-force, best friend – apart from each other 🙂 – , pool of energy, healer, greatest teacher, inspiration and so much more!
Beside this feature, the 102nd issue of Kiteboarding is packed with loads of interesting stuff and photos, so get your little kiter-a** down to the nearest shop or order it online!
Have fun & stay tuned for more
