Merry X-Mas & a Happy New Year !
With this beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean I would like to wish all of you:
A VERRY MERRY X-MAS and a GREAT RIDE into 2013 !!!
This time of the year, that should normally be a quiet, peaceful time, spent amongst loved ones is for most of us due to our brainwashed, consumption and commercially driven, quite frankly in my opinion completely crazy, society a rather stressful one and the complete opposite of peace, joy and love.
Still it’s up to each one of us what we make of it. For me it’s a time to become still and to reflect. It’s about tuning into our selves and feeling deep inside… A year is about to come to an end, a new one about to start. With it there are so many new opportunities coming up, it’s exciting to change, to adjust and ammend, to re-think and re-direct, to set-off to completely new tracks and leave others that haven’t really made us happy behind in the past. Change can be scary in a way. It’s so much easier and less risky to just go with the flow, even if it’s not quite right for us, isn’t it? In the Chinese language the word change has two meanings, it’s second meaning is “Opportunity”.
In this spirit, I leave you here before I go too deep and too spiritual…
Have a lovely X-Mas whereever you are and whatever you are up to and as we say in my home-language in Austria “An Guadn Rutsch ins Neiche”, which translates into “A Good Slide into the New Year” 🙂 ! I wish you the best for 2013 and hope for all of you it will bring safety, happiness and peace to yourself and loved ones.
