“I see my path, but I don’t know where it leads. Not knowing where I’m going is what inspires me to travel it.” ~ Rosalia de Castro 👣✨
I reckon most of us don’t know at the moment where the current path through this really strange world will be taking us. But not knowing must not stop us from dreaming, hoping, having faith and pushing through these difficult times with an open heart and a positive outlook.
The Spanish writer Rosalia de Castro lived from 1837-1885. She would have seen a fair bit in her lifetime too. Her words are so powerful and so timely for this situation we’re currently in and for life in general. Embrace Rosalia’s mindset and live it ❤️🙏.
And I’d like to back up Rosalia de Castro’s quote by a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche:
“He who has a “why” to live can bear almost any “how”.
.
As tough as these troublesome times that we currently have to face are, it’s a good time to reevaluate our lives.
As Nietzsche put it, the ones who know what they live for and have a positive goal, those can pretty much push through anything without giving up.
As opposed to a meaningless life, which is always an ordeal no matter whether in good or bad times.
A person who has found a purpose in life can overcome any obstacle in their path. .
Most people currently feel like having had the rug pulled out from under their feet. So do I. For the time being I have lost all my sources of income, had to cancel future projects and travel plans and have no clue what life will look like once Australia will have the worst of the crisis behind them…?
But there’s one thing I know: I won’t give up fighting for what I live for! And although I don’t have any kids (by choice), I have my soulmate and our free life that’s dictated by the elements. I have my ocean sports, which I truly live for and I’ll always be seeking to explore yet more corners of this fascinating planet. .
What’s your “why” to live?
