The colours and stunning nature around the lake Traun (Traunsee) in Austria’s Salzkammergut region are mindblowing. Austria is incredibly beautiful, the only thing missing to perfection: the sea 🙂 The lake Traun is especially blessed by nature. A lovely town that’s situated on the North end – Gmunden – is my mum’s birthplace. That’s why I feel kind-a-home here although I was born and raised in Austria’s capital Vienna but spent all my holidays with my brother at my grandparents’ house, already as a child the lake was my preferred playground!
