on the moon

The surroundings up on Mount Teide, the active though dormant vulcano on Tenerife, Canary islands, resembles the Moon (I would imagine anyway). Lots of endless rocky planes, silence, strange volcanic formations…  Flo Ducate took me up to the Teide when I came over to visit her and Mark Shinn at their chosen home Tenerife.
