Wooooooooooow folks …  the ones amongst you who aren’t from Austria will not really appreciate the value of this feature to me!  The ‘Kronen Zeitung’  is Austria’s most widely read (i.e. number of readers multiple times higher than the other newspapers combined!!!) newspaper.  On Sundays there is always the ‘Special Weekend Supplement’ (in colour) and numbers of readers usually skyrocket even more than during weekdays.

Well now:  count 1 and 1 together … YES, Sunday the 13th July featured Kitegabi in the ‘Special Supplement’ on 2 pages (that’s 10 times more than sport-features usually get) … soooo stoked !!!

Yep, I have to admit it makes me proud that my home turf at last recognizes my achievements of the past 6 years as well as the fact that kiteboarding is growing rapidly, thus definitely a sport that’s worth covering more in the future.  NIce!
