Literally translated ‘Frisch verliebt’ stands for ‘newly in love’ and that’s e x a c t l y how I felt after having started to kitesurf in waves… Mhhhhh, what a feeling, adrenaline, endorphins, pure joy. This article is about a 6 week training-period on wave-paradise Sal, Cape Verde islands, boosting one of the most perfect lefts on the planet ‘Ponta Preta’ that changed my life. All I want to do is wave-kite! And I can only recommend to anyone out there to give it a go as well but please take it slowly, riding big waves requires experience and total kite-control.
