OPENINGSHOT of D’WAVEGALLERY

I’m super proud to be starring as the openingshotwith under the title “Composure” of Kiteworlds Wave-Gallery in its June issue 🙂

Yeah, Kiteworld counts without a doubt amongst  THE top kitesurf-magazines worldwide and not many chicks make it into the wavegallery…

This shot was taken by Jamie Scott, one of the sickest action photographers and a really ‘big name’  in Australias surf-industry, of his jet-ski, when a decent swell hit W.A.s coast-line. I could see it coming a few days before on the swell-radar and called up Jamie to see whether he was available ‘in case’ it came through as forecasted  (you never know until the very morning of the day, when you actually go down to the Ocean and see what’s thrown on the menu by Mother Nature and Neptun, the God of the water & sea).

Yep, that day the forecast hasn’t promised too much and the Gods gave us wave-addicts a great gift… and off we went: Jamie on his ski and me with my Kontact 6’3 and my Rebel 5m2.  One of the shots of this insanely cool joy session made the double-spread in Kiteworld.
