Wow, the last 3 weeks since I arrived in this paradise New Zealand have passed so, soooo quickly and my tour around the south island is just about to come to an end 🙁 sad about the fact that I can’t spend more time here, cause the south island is simply s t u n n i n g, however, a kite-pro’s gotta do what a pro’s gotta do and that is: to follow the wind & waves 🙂 and hey, better than being sad about leaving is h o w stoked I am about experiences, new friendships, impressions that I’ve been privileged of living over the past 3 weeks, right 🙂
Plus: now I’m hitting the north island and that’s gonna be highly exciting as well…yeah, yeah, yeah, can’t wait actually to finally check out wave-heavens taranaki, raglan and many more spots as well as to hook up with my team-mates Marc Jacobs (multiple New zealand Champion) and Kelby Bright around the west coast of the north island.
As a last ‘tourist-must-2’ and ‘farewell 2 the south island’ I did a beautiful kayak-trip in the famous Abel Tasman National Park, sweet 🙂
Gotta hop onto the ferry tomorrow veeeeery early (6:30) and still have to drive about 3 hours to the ferry terminal, thus gotta hit the sack now but will keep u updated (sporadically, sorry guys but it’s so hard to find internet along the road in a campervan….in fact, the biggest problem is: that I can’t work on my computer in my van as I can’t recharge the battery on my laptop..!? thus as soon as I get into stuff on the computer, bang…game over, no more power..!?).
Catch ya later!
