In 2002 I was living in Hong Kong, with 25 years of age I pretty much had achieved everything I had always been hoping for, a dream job as worldwide Marketing Manager, my own secretary, an apartment in the 16th floor of a skyscraper in Soho on Hong Kong island, lots of friends, lots of fun, lots of travelling in Asia, great life … until I saw the first photograph of a kitesurfer, funnily enough, in the very publication that I was working for back then.
That day chaged everything. ‘Woooow, what da he§$% is that, that’s the perfect combination of e v e r y t h i n g I love doing: snowboarding, wakeboarding, skydiving, …’ went through my head and .. ‘I g o t t a learn this’. The rest in history. Stance interviewed me to that drastic move in life that I took back then, giving everything up for a dream and succeeding!
